Indo-Pak singing auditions in Dubai

If you are an aspiring singer who wants to step out the bathroom renditions and climb up on a world stage then head down to the Dubai auditions of a new reality TV show that will launch in November on Zee TV Middle East.
 
‘Asia’s Singing Superstar’ is hunting for talented artistes from India, Pakistan and UAE, with award-winning singers Shafqat Amanat Ali and Shankar Mahadevan serving as the judges on the show.
 
Pakistani actor Ahsan khan who appeared in films like ‘Nikah and ‘Billi’ will be hosting the show, along with Indian singer andcomposer Shweta Pandit who debuted with five songs in Yash Raj Films’ ‘Mohabbatein’.
 
The show producers have stated there will be no age limit set for contestants on the show.
 
Auditions are being held today Dubai at the Zee Towers in Dubai Media City on from 9am onwards by registering on facebook.com/zeetvme.

The contestants who will be selected from the UAE auditions will be given extensive training by renowned singers in Delhi and then will compete with each other in the studio rounds between 15th October and 15th November 2015.

Separate auditions are also being held in Pakistan (Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi) and India (Mumbai, Delhi).
 
Participants are required to sing in Hindi/Urdu.
 
For the show’s grand finale, Pakistani Ghazal singer, Ghulam Ali, will be present as the Maha Guru will help the two judges select the eventual winner.
 
Speaking about the new show, Zee TV’s Chief Content & Creative Officer, Manoj Mathew says, “ ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, the oldest singing format on Indian Television has given great singing talent over the years and with ‘Asia’s Singing Superstar’, we are looking at achieving the same goal of bringing artists not just from India but from UAE and Pakistan too.

“We are particularly excited about giving exposure to the UAE talent who do not get many platforms to showcase their skills. It will be great to see one of the UAE talent go all the way”
 
Sixteen contestants in total will be chosen from UAE, India and Pakistan to take part in the show.
 
Asia’s Singing Superstar launches on November 7, every Saturday 9.30pm on Zee TV.
