Mega Indian TV and movie stars rocked Indian expats in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on August 7-8, 2015, marking the beginning of Onam celebrations in UAE.
Apart from Malayalam TV stars, Bollywood biggies like Jackie Shroff and Karisma Kapoor took part in the shows.
‘Tharathilakkam’, literally translates to shining stars, and it took place in Dubai at Al Nasr Leisureland and in Abu Dhabi, at the National Theatre.
The event was organised by ATMA, an association of television artists in Kerala.
K B Ganesh Kumar, a former minister and film and TV star, said, “Part of the income earned from these stage shows will be used for the welfare of ATMA members. We are also doing a public service to society.”
