Ranbir’s plans to take on all comers go kaput

Ranbir Kapoor has been keen on taking on Imran Khan and that he will be able to do when his film Rockstar will clash with Imran Khan’s Yash Raj Film starrer Mere Bother Ki Dulhan co starring Ranbir’s ex girlfriend Katrina Kaif as well.

But then Ranbir is not just content taking on Imran. He wanted to take on Immy’s mamu Aamir Khan as well.

Ranbir, we are told did try and influence the producers of the film Barfee directed by Anurag Basu to pitch the film opposite Aamir Khan’s film Dhuan which releases on Republic Day in 2012.

Aamir had his film Rang De Basanti releasing on the same day which was incidentally released a few years back by UTV.

But some sensible brains at UTV decided against pitting their film opposite the Aamir Khan movie.

Barfee co stars Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D Cruz, while Dhuan has Rani Mukerjee and Kareena Kapoor accompanying Aamir Khan.
