Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has dismissed reports that his estranged wife Sussanne has demanded an alimony of Rs 400 crores (INR) from him.

An angry Hrithik tweeted that that such reports demeaned his loved ones and tested his patience.

A source close to the couple also said, "Finance and money has so far not even been a topic of discussion between Hrithik and Sussanne. They have even left it out of court because it does not hold importance to them. Hrithik being the person he is , would do anything to ensure that his family is happy and well looked after. Sussanne too is an independent working girl who has her own business.Any talk of money or dispute over settlement is ridiculous and fabricated."

Hrithik and Sussanne filed for divorce by mutual consent in April this year. The final hearing in the case is slated to take place on October 31 and the custody of their children Hrihaan and Hredaan has been awarded to Sussanne.

It seemed like the divorce proceeding were going smoothly until reports emerged of disagreement on alimony money.
 
A report in NDTV (Indian news channel) suggests that Sussanne, who is an established designer, has apparently demanded close to Rs 400 crore (INR) from her former husband as alimony.
 
The actor has reportedly agreed to pay Rs 380 crore in settlement.

During the public announcement of their separation in his statement Hrithik Roshan had said that Sussanne decided to walk out of their 13-year-old marriage.
 
“This is my greatest tribute to love. Sussanne is and always will be the love of my life for the rest of my life. If her smiles are brighter without me, my love for her must accomplish that,” Hrithik had written on his Facebook page. However, in a separate statement, Sussanne had called it, “our own individual choices”.
 
Sussanne on her part also issued a statement to the media saying, “We are two individuals who respect and care for each other and have made our own individual choices. We are parents to two wonderful kids and our responsibility remains to protect and take care of them. Nothing can change that. Would appreciate if we are given our privacy in such a time. Thank you for your warmth and concern for both of us and the family.”
 
The couple has been spotted together with their children Hridaan and Hrehaan multiple times since they announced their separation.
 
The two were spotted together celebrating their son’s birthday in Lonavala. They seemed to be putting their personal differences aside for the sake of their children.
 
Hrithik is reportedly very close to Sussanne's family and is often seen in the company of her siblings Zayed and Farah.
