A talented singer, author, and businessman Ahmed Bukhatir created history when he was announced as one of the top 3 winners of Montegrappa Writing Prize from Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2016.

Bukhatir, who has gained immense popularity worldwide with his angelic voice, spreading peace and love, is on the way to publish fantasy and fiction across the globe.

He has achieved another milestone by marking his name in the list of Montegrappa Writing Prize winners.

The Montegrappa Writing Prize was held for the fourth consecutive year as first-time writers were invited to submit their writings for a potential novel to be judged by UK literary critic Luigi Bonomi.

In 2016 competition, over 170 submissions were made by writers excited to broaden new horizons of writing and publishing.

From the stage set by Emirates Festival of Literature, Bukhatir has evolved as a new literary star, a story teller and soon to be a globally famous author.

Bukhatir's 'Dragon Boy' won the third prize from the worldwide submissions, thus became the first Emirati to win this award.

Well known for the flare of uniqueness and novelty in his music, Bukhatir has again presented himself as a source of inspiration for the writers in UAE. This achievement will enable Bukhatir to publish his book globally across the most important publishing houses and global distribution in Europe, the United States and across the world.
