First look: Aggressive Priyanka Chopra packs a punch as Mary Kom

First poster of Priyanka Chopra's film 'Mary Kom' is out.

Her look as a boxing champion is set to thrill the audience along with her power-packed performance.

Priyanka tweeted the poster of the biopic on Olympic medal-winning boxer Mary Kom (Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom).

With the poster, she tweeted: "Heart. Blood. Sweat. Soul. I've given it my all. Over to you guys now! #MaryKomFirstLook #FightLikeAGirl ..here goes"

We must say we are impressed by the poster and PC is truely looking like a boxer. The cuts of her body, the roughness, her expressions are all spot on.

The actress is thrilled about the response the poster received on social media.

While shooting Priyanka spent a gruelling 35 days training for the crucial climax scenes of the film.

Priyanka would train in the night post pack-ups for scenes in the film that will see her do some hardcore training.

The film has been directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on a story and screenplay written by Saiwyn Quadras. The film will release on September 5.

Indian boxer Mary Kom was five-time World Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships.

She is the only Indian woman boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, competing in the flyweight (51 kg) category and winning the bronze medal.

She has also been ranked as No. 4 AIBA World Women's Ranking Flyweight category.
