The first posters of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' are out.

However, the poster fails to create an impact as it is reminiscent of Prabhudheva's flop 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya'.

The first poster shows city boy Imran Khan and 'desi' girl Kareena Kapoor sitting on either sides of a broken wall, giving away the concept of the film – Only love can bridge the gap!

The same old formula of city boy falling in love with a village girl - remember the Salman Khan-Kajol starrer 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya'.

Only time will tell if 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' is stale story or a blockbuster rom-com in the making.

We last saw them together in 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' and their chemistry managed well at the box office.

The film helmed by 'I Hate Luv Storys' director, Punit Malhotra and a Karan Johar production.

The second poster shows Kareena posing in a salwar-kurta as Imran Khan attempts Shah Rukh Khan pose with a earthen pot used in the village on his head.

In the movie, Imran Khan plays a south Indian boy. Gori (term used for a village bella) Kareena Kapoor will also be seen performing stunts for the movie.

The actress, while shooting for the action sequences also got injured. Reportedly, though Kareena had the provision of opting for a body double, she insisted on performing the stunts.

Kareena shot for the scene without ado and completed it without much delay.

'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' is slated for release on November 22.
