Fox wants Sheen back on 'Two and a Half Men'

Michael J. Fox is hopeful Charlie Sheen will return to work on Two and a Half Men, calling the actor a "tremendous talent."

Sheen was axed from the sitcom last month after weeks of controversy, which included a public feud with the show's creator Chuck Lorre, hospitalizations, rehab, and a number of headline-grabbing stunts.

Fox insists he has no plans to take over the troubled star's role in the series - and is praying Sheen overcomes his personal problems and is reinstated on the comedy.

He tells, "No (I won't be on the show)... my sincere hope is that Charlie goes back to work.

"He's a tremendous talent and a great guy and I know that everybody has difficulties but I hope he gets back on track... I shouldn't say that, he may feel he is on track - I would just like to see him back on the show."

Ironically, Sheen replaced Fox on hit show Spin City in 2001 when the Back to the Future actor bowed out of the series.
