While John Abraham and Sohail Khan will grapple Aamir Khan in 2015, Sushant Singh Rajput will use the helicopter to emulate Emraan Hashmi.

Five films on sports personalities are surely hitting the floors this year as filmmakers are making a mad scramble to make biopics based on sports stars.

With films like ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ on ace racer Milkha Singh starring Farhan Akhtar and directed by Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra entering the esteemed Rs100 crore club, and ‘Mary Kom’ on boxer Mary Kom of the same name also doing well with Priyanka Chopra in the lead role, filmmakers are toying with the idea of ready scripts picked up from facts rather than delving into fiction, where the returns are not exactly as good.

The buzz in the market these days is about Aamir Khan’s new look with a super mop of grey hair on his head and his beard.

Khan seems to have stopped dyeing his hair for the past few weeks just around the promotions of the film ‘PK’ and the results are there for all to see.
The look is purportedly for a film called ‘Dangal’ where he plays a wrestler.

The contribution of this wrestler is not, however, the awards he has won, but is of how he trained his daughters to become wrestling champions.

The film is being directed by ‘Bhootnath Returns’ and ‘Chillar Party’ director Nitesh Tiwari and is based on the real life of wrestler turned coach Mahavir Phogat from Bhiwani in Haryana.

This will be Aamir Khan’s second biopic and the second film in which he will be wrestling. Aamir Khan was seen wrestling in the biopic on Mangal Pandey earlier.

Meanwhile, both Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan and John Abraham are strangely locked in a battle to make a film on legendary Indian wrestler Gama Pehelwan.

Both of them are working on the same script and will probably trouble audiences like they were earlier done when Bhagat Singh clashed.

Some time back even Riteish has announced a biopic on India’s first medal winning wrestler Khashaba Jadhav called ‘Pocket Dynamo’, the nickname that Jadhav acquired.

The film will be made in Hindi and Marathi and will be Ritesh’s second production after the epoch making ‘Lai Bhaari’ - in Marathi.

Meanwhile Sushant Singh Rajput will work with Neeraj Pandey as Mahendra Singh Dhoni in ‘MS Dhoni The Untold Story’ which is slated for release in October, 2015.

Ex cricketer and politician Mohammed Azharuddin who was banned from Indian cricket for match fixing long ago will also get a  biopic with Emraan Hashmi doing the honours in the biopic directed by Anthony D'Souza.

Prachi Desai will play his first wife and the actor to play the second wife Sangeeta Bijlani is still being considered.

SRK also may be doing a biopic on hockey wizard Dhyanchand, but the actor hasn’t confirmed it yet.
