'Glee' star Becca Tobin's boyfriend found dead in hotel

'Glee' actress Becca Tobin's boyfriend Matt Bendik, 35, was found dead in hotel room in Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon.

The circumstances surrounding his death are mysterious, reports TMZ.

Daily Mail in another reports says, the family of Bendik fear that he died from a heart attack brought on by stress over expanding his business.

The 35-year-old night club owner was on a business trip in Philadelphia and Tobin did not acompany him.

The cause of his death is not known, but authorities said there was no evidence he committed suicide.

TMZ also reported that no drugs, medication or weapons were found at the scene.

A maid reportedly found his body in the room on Thursday afternoon.

Bendik was last seen by a manager at a club in Philly, just before midnight Wednesday.

Bendik ran several major clubs around the country, but especially in Los Angeles - where he was the Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub. He also was a co-owner of AV Nightclub.

Bendik was not known as a partier, and friends are shocked and devastated by his sudden death.

Speaking to MailOnline, a source said Bendik's family is 'devastated' by the tragedy and that Tobin, who had hoped to marry Bendik and have children with him, is 'inconsolable'.

Sunday also marks one year of Tobin's co-star Cory Monteith's death.

He was found dead in his hotel room from a heroin and alcohol overdose in Vancouver last July.
