Record-breaking soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he wants his five-year-old son to follow in his footsteps.

The 30-year-old soccer star - who has a five-year-old boy, also named Cristiano, with an unnamed woman - has revealed he would love to see his son emulate his success on the sports field.

Speaking at the world premiere of his eponymous documentary film in London's Leicester Square, Ronaldo was asked about his son's career plans, and he replied: "My son, he is a young boy he changes his mind every second.

"For me, he can be whatever he wants but of course, I want him to be like his dad and score goals, and make goals. I'd like him to be a striker."

The Portuguese forward - who dated model-turned-actress Irina Shayk until earlier this year - also claimed he had no issues having cameras follow him around for the making of the documentary.

He said: "It's easy! For me, it's not a problem, I'm used to it. I've been in this business for 15 years, it's a different thing. It's a special moment for me.

"I just feel proud and happy to have made the film."

Meanwhile, the three-time World Player of the Year revealed hark work and dedication have been the keys to his career success.

Ronaldo - who currently plays for Spanish giants Real Madrid - said: "I never thought I'd become the best player in the world, I never thought about that.

"But I had the motivation to work hard all the time and do my best. It's great what has happened in my career."

Other guests in attendance at the premiere included soccer luminaries Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho.

The 'Hero' hitmaker, 43, has reportedly boxed up her belongings and is now living with her billionaire boyfriend, 48, in his Beverly Hills mansion in California, just five months after they started dating, according to gossip site TMZ.com.

The blonde beauty's big move came just a week after she threw a Halloween bash for her four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, with her estranged husband Nick Cannon, 35, and her new beau both in attendance.

Mariah split from Nick, the father of her children, last summer after six years of marriage and has wasted no time throwing herself into her new romance as it is believed she and James are eager to tie the knot in the near future.

A source said previously: "James wants to marry her sooner rather than later, and she is very open to the idea."

And it seems their romance is travelling fast as the couple are said to have already discussed having a child together.

The insider explained: "Mariah feels that having a child with James would be a blessing from God. She wants another child and is telling friends she's not too old."
