Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be attending the IIFa Awards after two years of gap. There were whispers that he might skip the Singapore event this time too which has arch rival Shah Rukh Khan as it's brand ambassador.
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will come face to face during the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards that will take place next month.
Salman Khan's blockbuster 'Bodyguard' has been nominated in most categories. Even SRK's ‘Don 2’ will feature in most of the catagories. There could also be competition among the two for the best actor award.
It is also touted that the two actors will take on the stage at the Signapore indoor stadium; not at the same time for obvious reasons.
The much-anticipated face-to-face encounter of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh during filmmaker Karan Johar's birthday party did not materialize. Salman Khan along with Katrina Kaif avoided the much talked about party as the two were busy shooting in Thialand for 'Ek Tha Tiger'.
There were also rumors that the both the Khans might sort out their differences at Karan Johar’s big birthday bash. However, it doesn’t seem like Karan has been successful in the patch-up.
During the IIFA Awards the actors will be seen under the same roof together after quite some time. Certainly, one can expect some fireworks here.
The IIFA weekend will take place in Singapore from June 7-9.
