Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his family had some anxious moments after an unidentified person broke into their Mumbai residence, Jalsa.

The 69-year-old actor wrote about the incident in his blog, saying that the person is in the custody of the police, who are now investigating the case.

"Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa," Amitabh posted.

Deepak Kewat (30), entered the heavily guarded residence of the actor by first climbing a gulmohar tree adjoining Bachchan's bungalow. He then jumped on to a tin shed that was put to prevent water from entering into the bungalow.

Kewat first jumped on to the balcony of one of the bedrooms on the top floor and entered the bedroom. He also took some money from a chest drawers in the bedroom.

The thief was nabbed while planning to escape. The security guards raised an alarm and caught him.

The cops have charged him with house breaking and theft. He has been remanded in police custody for 14 days, reports India Today.
