Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan unveiled the first theatrical trailer of their movie 'Khoobsurat'.

Disney India’s first Indian movie is a remake of 1980 Hrishikesh Mukherjee gem by the same name.

But 'Khoobsurat' has evolved by becoming princelier in its approach. In fact, it has a good blend of Disney’s brand of fairy tales with a Prince Charming and Indian values.

The trailer looks interesting and lead pair Sonam and Fawad Khan look good together.

The film is a quirky, modern romantic comedy about what happens when a vibrant, hopelessly romantic physiotherapist meets a handsome young Rajput prince who is the complete opposite of her - and is engaged to someone else.

Set in Rajasthan, 'Khoobsurat' is the story of Dr. Mili Chakravarty (played by Sonam Kapoo) - a middle class physiotherapist from Delhi.

Mili is sent to Rajasthan to treat the paraplegic Shekhar Rathore, Raja of Sambalgarh. Over the course of her stay in the mahal, Mili charms the Rathore family, especially young Yuvraj Singh Rathore (Fawad Khan) - with her free spirit and funny antics.

During the trailer launch Fahad Khan had cast his magic on the ladies.

In a very short span of time Fahad has made the Indian audience go crazy with his show 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai'.

Thanks to no melodramatic and tear-jerking content, the show gained immense popularity and Fawad aka Zarun Junaid became a darling.

Hence, at the trailer all eyes were waiting to catch the first glimpse of his Pakistani model and actor.

During the press meet most of the questions were thrown at him. But a very humble and visibly blushing Fawad just kept thanking people for all the love.

Sonam must have felt left out, so the chirpy actress kept interrupting while he was being asked questions.

The film also star Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Husain.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh the film will release on Sept 18 in the UAE.
