Jennifer Lopez had to have stitches in her knee after she sliced it open during her performance at iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party in Miami last weekend.

The 44-year-old singer got a little carried away with her dance moves during her performance of her 2001 hit 'I'm Real' at the two-day festival as she ended up needing stitches in her leg after scraping it across the stage.

The brunette beauty didn't seem fazed by the unfortunate accident at the time, but later took to her Instagram account to share a gruesome picture of her injury.

The 'On The Floor' hitmaker shared another snap just a few hours later of someone seeing to her knee backstage as blood seeped through her fishnet tights, but she assured fans she was "fine".

Meanwhile, Jennifer - who recently ended her two-and-a-half year relationship with boyfriend Casper Smart - took her mother Guadalupe Rodriguez and her six-year-old twins Max and Emme, who she has with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony, along to the event for support.

A source said at the time: "Max and Emme enjoyed the pool and had a great time ... Her mum enjoyed her show and danced to all of her music."

A restaurant source told PEOPLE.com: "They looked like a great couple. They paid a lot of attention to each other."

The loved-up duo reportedly ran up a bill of just over $100 after they ordered steak, salad and oysters.

Ben - who is currently filming 'Batman vs. Superman' in nearby Detroit - even complimented the chef on his culinary skills by saying his french fries served with béarnaise sauce and parmesan was the best he's had.

A fellow diner added: "Everyone was freaking out in the restaurant. I was starstruck."

Meanwhile, Jennifer, 42, had flown to Michigan to spend some time with Ben, 41, without their three children Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and Samuel, two.

Prior to seeing her hunky spouse, Jennifer had taken their kids to Charleston in West Virginia to see her family.

The brunette beauty was spotted watching a minor league baseball game with her parents, sister, and three children, on Friday, before sending her kids back to Los Angeles with their nannies.
