The 'Kick' fever has hit the small screen.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is on a promotional spree, visited the sets of dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' to promote his upcoming film.

Dressed in a white T- shirt and a pair of beige trousers, Salman looked drop dead gorgeous and accompanying him was his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez.

Following a ban from the Mumbai photographers, Salman Khan has taken up 'tried and tested' gimmicks of promotion.

Salman started with popular dance reality show; he made a smashing entry dancing on the song "Jumme ki raat hai". The 48 year old superstar impressed everyone with his energy and performance.

Contestant Akshat Singh is a hardcore Salman Khan fan. So when Salman came on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Akshat had to make him dance. It was a delight to watch Salman Khan groove with Akshat. They both did a jig on Salman Khan's famous song "Dhinka Chika" from the film 'Ready'.

Apart from dance performances, Salman was spotted making rotis (flat bread). He was joined in by Jacqueline Fernandez, show judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza.

There is absolutely no buzz about the 'Kick' promotional events held in Mumbai, as it is not attended by the Mumbai photographers who have strongly decided against clicking the superstar.

Salman instead plans to use the TV shows to his advantage.

He would be seen in Indian shows like 'Comedy Nights With Kapil', 'Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj', detective show 'CID' and a one- hour special show on Star called 'Kick Unplugged', which gives some behind the scene glimpses of the film's making.

It seems Salman has decided against city tours for promotion owing to the safety of his fans.

Whenever he visits a new place, crowd gathers in large numbers and the scene gets very chaotic, so he has resorted to video conferencing.

Last week, Salman, Jacqueline and Nawazuddin Siddique participated in a video conferencing with the press in London; he will hold similar video conferences in other cities too.
