'Justice League' trailer: Ben Affleck's Batman recruits superheroes

If you were left a tad bit disappointed with 'Batman v Superman', the latest Warner Bros. production might cheer you up.

The production house premiered the first trailer for Zack Snyder's superhero all-star movie, 'Justice League,' on Saturday at Comic-Con.

The movie brings together DC Comics heroes Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Superman (Henry Cavill), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa).

Based on the early footage, 'Justice League' has a much lighter tone than Snyder's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' which was criticized for taking itself too seriously.

The ever-serious, glum-faced Master Bruce Wayne can be seen smiling! At one point in the trailer, Batman turns to Aquaman and smirks: "I hear you can talk to fish?"

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act (from the last outing), Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Will Superman be back?

'Justice League' arrives next fall on Nov. 17, 2017.
