Kamal Haasan: Don't need Salman, SRK

The South film industry in India was buzzing with the news that producer Aascar Ravichandran is planning to cast Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan and Jackie Chan in 'Armour of God' sequel.

However, Kamal Haasan rubbished all such reports. Speaking to tabloid MidDay, the South superstar said, "I don't know how many Khans I am supposed to have approached. I am not some Bollywood-struck regional actor trying to associate my name with them."

With this statement Kamal Haasan ran down all speculations of him approaching Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

But Saif Ali Khan is likely to receive a call from the actor-filmmaker's office for his next film 'Amar Hai'.

After his mega-budget 'Vishwaroopam', which he is currently filming, Haasan will be focussing on 'Amar Hai'.

The movie doesn't have a role that would fit either of the Khans but there is a role in 'Amar Hai' that suits Saif.

The actor hasn't been approached yet for the role but likely to hear soon from Kamal Haasan's team.

Haasan is miffed with reports that portrayed him as Bollywood star struck fan hankering after their attention and star power.

Rumours about Jackie Chang started after Haasan met him at a function in Chennai where a producer suggested they should do a film together.

But Haasan said, "I'd rather like to share screen space with only one actor Dilip Kumar."
