Kangana Ranaut has major issues with Deepika Padukone

We've been reading stories and hearing rumours about rift between leading Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone since early this year.

But now Kangana, who has no filter while giving statements, has confirmed that her relationship with Deepika is not friendly ('Katti')

In a recent interview with critic Rajeev Masand, Kangana, along with co-star Imran Khan and 'Katti Batti' director Nikhil Advani, the 'Queen' actress left nothing to imaginations.

While playing a little game of holding up a card of either Katti (hate/unfriendly) or Batti (love) for people from the industry, she held up the Katti card for Deepika Padukone. Without blinking an eyelid.

"I just want to be left alone," comes Kangana's nonchalance response when Masand asked her whether this relationship would ever recover.

During the interview, she mentioned several times, that 'some people' need to mind their own business and stop meddling in her life.

Later, in a statement directed at people she considers herself 'katti' with she said, "When creative people work together, issues come up. But then they can't continue interfering in your life."

She added: "They need to concentrate on their work... probably, what they want to achieve by interfering in my life they will achieve when they concentrate on their work, their movies, their performances. But that's not happening. So they're definitely not getting what they want."

The 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' actress seems to have drawn flak for this statement as well as her recent behaviour. According to a report by The Deccan Chronicle, murmurs across the industry are saying that her recent success seems to have gone to her head.

Kangana's films have done well but there are serious doubts about her ability to handle success.

Kangana has repeatedly hit out at Deepika at various events and instances.

It all started with an awards ceremony and Deepika's acknowledgment that the Best Actress award (which was awarded to her) should have been given to Kangana.

Some called it a PR stunt; some called it a way for Deepika to reach out to Kangana, but it has opened up a chapter of miscommunication.

What followed were a series of rumours, cryptic messages from both stars and a buzzing rumour mill.

However, Deepika let bygones be bygones, but things got nasty after Deepika couldn't attend the 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' (TWMR) screening.

Kangana was furious and in an interview to a leading paper she said, "I did extend an invite to Deepika, but I never got a response. I have always been supportive of my contemporaries and will continue to be, but it is hurtful when you don’t get the same kind of support."

Sources close to Deepika maintained that she could not attend the screening as she was shooting that day.

She even sent Kangana a text message explaining that, but we guess Kangana was still furious as she did not invite Deepika for the TWMR success party and producer Krishika Lulla had to call Deepika.

At the party as soon as Deepika walked in, Kangana left the party without even saying a hello to her.

Everyone present at the party understood that her exit was timed with Deepika's entry.

With the tension boiling between the two divas grab your popcorn and wait for more drama to unfold.
