First it was 'Chammak Challo' and then a mujra for 'Agent Vinod'. But it looks like Kareena Kapoor did not have enough of it yet.

After the mujra act for Saif Ali Khan’s forthcoming spy-thriller 'Agent Vinod', Kareena Kapoor is all set to gyrate to item numbers in Madhur Bhandarkar’s most talked-about film 'Heroine'.

Kareena plays the lead role in this movie where she will perform two item numbers, reports NDTV.

Confirming the news, Bhandarkar reveals that one of Kareena's item numbers is called ‘Halkat jawani…’. The filmmaker believes that Kareena will take the nation by storm with this one.

As the title suggests, the film revolves around the life of an actor, but Bhandarkar says that he has treated the subject very carefully lest it sends out wrong signals about the film industry.

The film also deals with the subject of manipulation in the casting and editing stages. Bhandarkar is also co-producing the film with UTV Motion Pictures.
 
It is reported that Kareena’s on-screen chemistry with lead actor Arjun Rampal came out well. The two stars had to do an intimate scene which they also pulled off very professionally.  

'Heroine' after lot of bumpy road will finally see the light of the day in September.
 
Apart from Kareena and Arjun, the film also features actors Randeep Hooda, Rakesh Bapat, Divya Dutta and  Shahana Goswami in pivotal roles.
