Speaking on the 'Today' show, she said: "You have to make risk-and-reward decisions.

"Just having to make these executive decisions is really hard, I think on anybody. So it was definitely probably one of the most emotionally stressful times ever in my life."

Though Lamar is slowly getting back to health, the 31-year-old beauty admitted it will be some time before he is fully recovered.

She said: "He is learning how to walk again and learning ... cognitive therapy and speech therapy.

"They think, like, within a year and a half to two years that, mentally, he might be fully recovered. But they don't know."

Kim to give birth next week?

Kim Kardashian West is reportedly set to be induced and give birth to her son as early as next week after showing signs of gestational diabetes.

The 35-year-old reality TV star, who already has two-year-old daughter North with rapper husband Kanye West, was originally expected to welcome their second child into world on Christmas Day, but has reportedly agreed to be induced almost one month ahead of schedule to minimise the risk of serious complications.

A source claims doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles are planning to medically cause the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty to go into labour around Thanksgiving, as she recently had an ultrasound that showed excess fluid in her placenta, a sign of gestational diabetes.

Kim gave birth to North five weeks early in 2013 after being diagnosed with preeclampsia, a potentially life-threatening condition characterised by high blood pressure.

She also struggled to get pregnant again due to placenta accreta, a condition in which the placenta grows too deeply and becomes inseparable from the uterine wall.

The insider also told Us Weekly magazine: "Kim's doctors want to get the baby out early because of her medical history."

The star recently admitted she doesn't enjoy being pregnant and is feeling very anxious ahead of her due date.

She said: "Every medical issue that you could probably have I feel like I get and I worry so much about it. This pregnancy I have a little bit more anxiety just because I know what's to come and it's really inevitable some of the issues that I'm going to have. You know, I have a high-risk delivery and all of that gives me such anxiety."

Kan't take it anymore! Kim Kardashian is ready to give birth. The pregnant star - who is expecting a baby boy - complained about her third trimester in a video from inside a car, which was posted to her personal website recently.

The 35-year-old reality TV star, who is pregnant with her second child, has admitted she's getting more and more worked up about her delivery as her festive due date grows closer because of the complications she could experience.

Speaking to E! News, she said: "Every medical issue that you could probably have I feel like I get and I worry so much about it. This pregnancy I have a little bit more anxiety just because I know what's to come and it's really inevitable some of the issues that I'm going to have. You know, I have a high-risk delivery and all of that gives me such anxiety."

However, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - who already has two-year-old daughter North with her husband Kanye West - is trying to remain positive because she knows she's surrounded by experienced doctors and nurses.

She explained: "I'm so blessed to be carrying a child again when I didn't think that was possible for me. I do have access to amazing doctors that have been so helpful so I'm hopeful that everything will work out and be fine."

But it's not just her "high risk" birth that Kim is worried about as she's also concerned about how big her unborn baby boy will be when he arrives as he already weighs a healthy 7lbs.

She said recently: "He's [the weight of] a REALLY heavy pineapple, LOL! [I have] Anxiety, knowing my baby is so big and I'm gaining a lot of weight. My doctor wants me to manage it better, but it's hard to! I have gained more than I did the first pregnancy. I'm up 52 pounds so far, with six weeks to go. North was just four pounds, so this is new to me. This baby is already seven pounds (sic)."
