If there is anyone who simply knows how to be in the news then Kim Kardashian will even beat Paris Hilton in the celebrity paparazzi stakes.

Ever since former husband Kris Humphries was given the boot from their 72-day marriage, Kardashian has been facing a PR disaster with her large fan following dwindling as her Twitter timeline peppered itself with hate messages.

That was until her PR-machine kicked back in with a damage control plan that would surely see the mercury climbing.

The plan, you ask? Posting a picture of herself in an itsy bitsy teeny weeny, plain ole’ coral bikni.

The reality TV star tweeted the picture of herself in a barely there bikini top, adding: “Photo shoot fresh! All about corals for spring swimwear #kardashiankollection [sic].”

Naturally, fans on the microblogging site lapped it up, following which Kardashian continued in her steamy best avatar by debuting another picture, this time giving her trademark raven hair a makeover with blonde highlights.

Posting yet another image of herself, the 31-year-old tweeted again, saying: “I dyed my hair yesterday! I’m loving it! New hair colour = new beginnings for me. Like it?”

Of course, this public image of a brave new girl hides the reality of a scared single woman who has been on edge ever since a strange man came knocking on her Beverly Hills home last weekend.

The man allegedly refused to leave and the petrified Kardashian was forced to call the cops to haul him off her front stoop.

Now, gossip site TMZ has learned that Kardashian’s fear factor has reached new heights, prompting the diva to jump ship and start house hunting to a safer, gated community.

Quoting sources, Kardashian is currently house shopping in several exclusive gated communities in the Los Angeles area, including Bel Air and Mulholland Estates, which are homes to Charlie Sheen and Paris Hilton.
