KJo: No plans of making SRK-Kajol film yet

Published

It all started with 'Baazigar' and Bollywood got one of it's favorite couple on-screen.

If there is any onscreen pair in Bollywood that sends audiences into a tizzy with their crackling chemistry, it is that of actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Every time the duo signed a film together, they have been a major draw at theatres, setting the cash registers ringing.

The last the two came together was for filmmaker Karan Johar's 'My Name Is Khan' in 2010. The film was critically acclaimed and won a lot of awards in all departments.

Now there's again reports that Karan has apparently decided to cast the duo in a romantic film.

But the fimmaker has refutes the news, reports Hindustan Times.

“No, there’s nothing. Right now, my entire focus is on 'Student Of The Year' (SOTY). In fact, I haven’t planned a thing (as far as his new venture goes) next. Everything you read or hear is just conjecture,” says Karan.

It was also reported that the film will not be announced before the end of the year and won’t begin rolling before early next year.

Karan insists, “Of course it would always be my biggest honour to work with Shah Rukh and Kajol who, I believe, is the best pair Hindi cinema has ever seen. I would always want to work with them, but there’s nothing on the cards.”

Karan is busy with his latest film which will mark the launch of newcomers Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and model Siddharth Malhotra.
