KUWTK: Kim's 'Selfish' shoot with Saint and North

Kim Kardashian West is a "modern day Marie Antoinette", according to her husband.

The hip-hop star says the 35-year-old brunette is a 21st century version of the one-time Queen of France, who was beheaded in 1793 for high treason.

Kanye explained: "My wife is the face of the change [in] fashion, where designers who literally wouldn't let her sit in shows are now making entire collections based off of her shape.

"It's funny, for Kim to be photographed so much, [she] represents our modern day Marie Antoinette. She gets hair and make-up every day, not just for a photo shoot. Why? Because every day is a photo shoot."

Meanwhile, Kim, who has two children with the divisive musician - a three-year-old daughter called North and a nine-month old son called Saint - thinks Kanye is her "best stylist".

She told Harper's BAZAAR magazine: "I swear he sees everything a few steps ahead of anyone else.

"Kanye is a big part of my fashion story and my fashion transformation. He's my best stylist. Every look I love is definitely something that he's had a hand in helping to style or put together."

Kim admitted that her friends and family have also taken note of their fashion obsession.

She shared: "My friends and my sisters will say, 'I've never met anyone like you two who will just sit in a closet for hours and try on clothes and cut things up and redesign them.'

"We just love it, and we spend a lot of time on it. We do put a lot of effort into the looks and trying to stay ahead of the game."

Khloe helping Kim with weight loss

Kim Kardashian West has revealed her sister Khloe Kardashian is helping her to lose the last five pounds with her "fitness emergency kit".

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star has given her older sister a "fitness emergency kit" to help her lose the last five pounds to reach her post-baby weight goal.

Kim told E! News: "It's impossible. Khloe has this fitness emergency kit that she's made and created herself. It's a backpack full of these things and one of them is a sweat suit that she made that makes you sweat.

"And there's this workout band and these workout things. She literally dropped it off yesterday because I was like, 'I've gotta just lose these last 5 pounds,' so I'm just going to follow Khloe's lead."

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old television personality recently opened up about the importance of positive body image.

Writing on her website, she shared: "Having a positive self-image has always been important to me because it affects so many aspects of my life: my work, my relationship with my husband and my life as a mom.

"After I had [North West], there was a part of me that was nervous about whether I'd be able to get back to anywhere near my pre-pregnancy weight and feel confident again, since I was now 50 pounds heavier. I knew I had to put in a lot of work, but I got there - it took me a good six or seven months. After 10 months, I felt like I was even better than before. I was curvier. I really felt like all the hard work paid off.

"The second time around, it was easier for me to embrace the changes. I loved finding looks that showed off my pregnancy curves. After Saint's birth, I decided to set goals for myself. I was motivated, but it was tough! It isn't easy to just bounce back."

Kanye hints at marriage tension

Kanye West appeared to hint at a bit of tension between himself and his wife Kim Kardashian West as the pair tried to organise plans for Mother's Day.

The 'Only One' hitmaker criticised his wife - with whom he has three-year-old daughter North and eight-month-old son Saint - for having plans in New York on their first Mother's Day as a family of four.

In a scene from May aired on a recent episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians', he told Kim: "Are we going with you or you just don't wanna see your husband and children on Mother's Day?"

Luckily, Kanye got his wish and the family spent the day together, where Kim was treated to a performance from a string orchestra in her own house.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old television personality previously revealed Kanye, 39, was left "disappointed" with her when she turned up late to the filming of his music video.

She recalled: "When we get to the glacier, Kanye is already done shooting and I'm like heartbroken. He's being nice and kissed me and it's all good, but like I just know he's more probably disappointed in me.

And Kim recently opened up about family life, revealing they talk about race "every single day" in their house.

She shared: "We talk about race in America every single day in our house. The topic really does get broached, somehow, every single day. Kanye's just really vocal and I definitely know that our kids will grow up having a really good sense of their different backgrounds."

When Kim danced with Beyonce

Kim Kardashian West has admitted her "biggest fear" was having to dance next to Beyonce as she doesn't want to be shown up.

(Instagram)

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star joined her husband Kanye West when he toured with Jay Z in 2011 and admits she was worried about how her dancing skills would stack up against the 'Crazy In Love' hitmaker.

She said: "My biggest fear was during Watch the Throne that if I sit next to Beyoncé, she dances and she's up, like, you know. So, the last night of the tour, she came to dressing room and was like, 'Hey, do you want to sit together?' Then, she wanted to go in the mosh pit and I was like, 'What do we do in the mosh pit?' She's like, 'Dance! Just let loose. Just dance!' And I was like, 'My life is over!'"

And the 35-year-old television personality - who has North, three, and Saint, eight months, with the 'Only One' rapper - also admitted her dislike for dancing caused one of the "biggest fights" the couple ever had.

Speaking to her sister Kourtney Kardashian and her close pal Malika Haqq on the family's E! reality show, she said: "Like, it was our biggest fight that I don't dance at Kanye's concerts. I did not dance on Dancing With the Stars. Like, I did not dance!"

And just because Kim isn't a keen dancer, she still manages to keep fit by working out.

(Getty Images)

She said: "I think dieting is so important to weight loss, whereas, I didn't really ever think that before.

"I thought, 'Oh, I can work out, I can just eat whatever I want.' But you have to work out all the time."

The End, for Kourtney

Kourtney Kardashian doesn't want 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' to end, but thinks she would be "so happy" if it did.

(Bang)

The 37-year-old reality star - who has children Mason, six, Penelope, four, and Reign, 20 months, with ex-partner Scott Disick - admits every time a season of the show draws to a close, she thinks she's "had enough", but after a brief break, she's usually ready for filming to resume.

She said: "I don't want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did and I could just move away from it all,' Kourtney says. 'By the end of every season I've had enough, but then once we have had a break I'm ready for more."

(Instagram)

Kourtney initially didn't want her kids to be filmed for the show, but quickly discovered that was too restrictive for the youngsters, so she is thankful the crew are always "respectful" and ensure they have plenty of quality time together away from the cameras.

She told You magazine: "I wanted the children to feel free to run about where they wanted - it's their home, after all - so it was easier to let them. They have known the crew all their lives and the team are very respectful about leaving at 6pm, when I like to have family time."

And the brunette beauty loves the "wonderful and peaceful" evening routine she has with the children.

(Instagram)

She said: "For me, the moment I relax is when I take off my make-up.

"That means I'm back in my mum role. We eat together - I don't cook very often, we have someone who prepares our food - then it's bath time and stories. We all snuggle together; first we read the baby books and then we move on to the other books. It's so wonderful and peaceful."

And though she and Scott are no longer together, Kourtney insists there are no difficulties raising their children between them.

(Instagram)

She said: "I find co-parenting really easy.

"Scott and I communicate all the time. You have to keep discussing what's going on because as the children grow older, the rules need to be renegotiated. We make sure we go on days out together because the kids love it, but it's really hard when you're at the zoo and there are cameras in your face all day."
