Manisha Koirala’s cancer surgery a success

Manisha Koirala, who went to New York to get her ovarian surgery, underwent a successful surgery on Monday.

A news agency quoted Manisha’s manager as saying, “Manisha underwent a surgery on Monday at around 9 a.m. I got a message from her family members and they said it was a successful surgery.”

Manisha’s close friends and family members are there by her side.

The actress, who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, was scheduled to undergo surgery last Thrusday but it was later rescheduled on December 10.

Manisha left for New York for further treatment after she was diagnosed of cancer and hospitalised in Mumbai on November 28.

The actress some days back fell unconscious in her new home in Nepal and was brought down to Mummbai.

While her family members doesn't want to speak about the sensitive issue giving the seriousness of it, the 42 year old actress has been putting up a brave face fighting the deadly disease.

She spoke openly about the disease and her health; thanking fans for their love and prayers.

She wrote on her Facebook page, "Dear friends thank you for all your wishes..I m in good place n in good hands..with all your love n prayers I m sure I ll recover..it was shocking to know but then life is full of surprises..one must deal with it n move on with faith n dignity..what ever is th out come its for best..I know that..so pl don't worry..I have had a beautiful life so far n I know,what ever will happen will all be good..thank you from bottom of my heart for your prayers..love m koirala."

She continues: "Dear friends I m writing this as a request..pl no sadness,I hv told my closest friends n fam too..this is part of life..I m fine n will be fine no matter th out come..I m in gratitude with all the gifts I hv received from this life..like your love n prayers..lets celebrate life in all forms..thank you again for ur prayers...love m".
