Many hoped the defending champions would win and play against New Zealand in the final.

And the preparation to celebrate Team India's advance to the final was done before their semi-final defeat.

The ads in the 'Mauka Mauka' campaign had been a hit throughout the tournament.

The World Cup broadcasters (in India) had prepared an ad in advance for India's win over Australia in the semi-final.

India failed to win the match and crashed out of the tournament and the ad starring Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was never aired.
