Known for his quick bursts on the field and controversies off it, ‘Rawalpindi Express’ Shoaib Akhtar has been caught out once again, by none other than controversial film star Meera.

The Pakistani star revealed in an interview over the weekend that the pacer had proposed to her, and she had declined because Shoaib had also proposed to her cousin at the same time.

Ever since Veena Malik made it big with her presence in Bigg Boss, another Pakistani actress Meera is eyeing the reality show.

Meera is pulling all strings to enter into the show and thus pave her way to Bollywood once again. Meera, who has earlier worked in Indian movies, didn't see much success.

Meera claimed that she had a year-old affair with the pacer.

However, Shoaib Akhtar denied having any romantic involvement with Meera.

A newspaper reported that the ex-cricketer said he met Meera barely on two occasions and he doesn't consider exchanging greeting and smiles as an affair.

Another Pakistani actress Veena Malik had got an easy entry into Bigg Boss, post her controversial involvement with ex-beau cricketer Mohammad Asif. She also blamed the cricketer of match-fixing in Pakistan cricket team.

Looks like, Meera wants to follow Veena’s footsteps in order to get noticed.
