Justin Bieber has been warned by police not to drive his Can-Am Spyder on the sidewalk again after he was captured on video driving the vehicle dangerously close to pedestrians in Beverly Hills on Thursday (21.08.14).

The young music star has seen his public persona change from a mild-mannered teen sensation to a wild young thing.

It all started when Bieber was charged for hitting a limo driver in the back of the head, on December 30, 2013 - Bieber’s rap sheet has only rapidly grown since.

There was this recent fight with British actor Orlando Bloom.

Justin is on two years’ probation stemming from the egging of his former neighbour's house in Calabasas, California earlier this year and was also recently ordered to perform five days of community service and attend 12 weeks of anger management classes.

The last time Justin Bieber visited UAE in 2013, he also managed to get himself into trouble.

That brings us to the question: Is ‘Bieber Fever’ now a passing epidemic and will it soon completely vanish – given the repeated misbehavior of the young artist?

Are Bieber fans disappointed with his new wild image, or do his fans prefer his well-mannered image he had when he first started his career?

Dubai-based, Amal AJ who is a fan says “Personally I love his music, but I absolutely can’t stand his reckless behavior. Especially since he has millions around the world watching his every move”

The 20-year-old singer, who is currently on probation, has now been accused of "putting other people's safety in jeopardy" after he was captured on video illegally driving the three-wheeled motorcycle dangerously close to pedestrians on the sidewalk to avoid traffic in Beverly Hills on Thursday (21.08.14).

A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department told E! News: "We highly encourage Mr. Bieber to stay off the sidewalk and remain in traffic. This is incredibly unsafe. He's putting other people's safety in jeopardy."

He also said that such reckless driving is a "vehicle code violation, which is an infraction."

According to gossip website TMZ.com, which obtained the video footage, the 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker, who is believed to have rekindled his relationship with Selena Gomez again, merged off the sidewalk at an intersection, and came close to crashing into an elderly woman with a walker.

So, as with him, will his fans and career go off-road too?
