Miley Cyrus rewarded her fans after reaching 13 million followers on Twitter by revealing her new album will be called 'BANGERZ' on Tuesday (06.08.13).

The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker revealed the title of her upcoming fourth studio album on Twitter on Tuesday (06.08.13), after reaching 13 million followers.

The 20-year-old singer hinted at the name of the record as she encouraged more fans to follow her and rewarded them as soon as she reached the milestone on the social networking site, writing: "If you don't know why my record is called BANGERZ you'll know as soon as you hear it. Nothin but #BANGERZ (Sic)"

The singer first revealed last month that she would make a special announcement as soon as she reached 13 million followers, tweeting: "Can't wait to announce my album title :))) #MileyTo13Million *******"

'BANGERZ' will be a follow up to 2010's 'Can't Be Tamed'.

The singer recently admitted her record label was worried that she might leak her new music because she loves surprising her fans.

She previously said: "We could just leak it. That's what I'm always trying to do.

"I scare my label all the time, because I just want my whole record out right now. I'm ready for people to hear it."

Despite her eagerness for fans to hear her new music, Miley is still hoping to surprise people.

She said: "I'm keeping some of the collabs on the down-low. That's what was so surprising when 'We Can't Stop' came out - people weren't ready for it, so I want it to be like that."

Miley also revealed that she doesn't have an exact release date set yet, but her record will be out sometime "this year."

Rihanna celebrates in Barbados (Bang)

Rihanna parties in her native Barbados

Rihanna returned to her native Barbados to celebrate annual harvest festival Crop Over with family and friends yesterday (05.08.13) and turned heads in a revealing bejewelled bikini.

The 'Diamonds' hitmaker embodied the colourful spirit of the annual harvest festival, which is highlighted by a public holiday called Kadooment Day, by sporting the risqué outfit as she revelled in the Barbadian sun with friends and family.

The carnival-inspired bikini was encrusted in jewels, while Rihanna also sported a headdress and necklace which had the same jewels as her bikini top, as well as feathered wings, giving her an angelic look.

The 25-year-old songstress was clearly enjoying being home with her loved ones in a rare break from her gruelling 'Diamonds' world tour, and spent time with her elderly grandfather, who joined her for the festivities.

Rihanna paid homage to her granddad by posting a series of pictures of her kissing and cuddling him on her Instagram account.

She captioned one of the pictures: "Look who was pon de road yesterday! My grandfather Bravo!!! The whole family was out to all! (sic)"

The 'Stay' singer captioned another picture: "He's legendary, and he loves me, just the way I am! (sic)"

As well as reuniting with family, the star - known for her love of partying - couldn't resist the opportunity to join one of the floats on parade and danced with a group of friends.

She later declared: "I love my country #Barbados (sic)"
