Indians Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra repeated the double crowns at Universe and World pageants again in 2000.

Megan Lynne Young, the 23-year-old Filipino (American) beauty is the current Miss World winning the 2013 crown.

All eyes are now on Miss Universe Philippines, Ariella Arida.

She is being touted as having a great chance to do the double crown for the Philippines.

If she wins she will be the only Filipina to win the Miss Universe title after Margarita Moran won it over 40 years ago in 1973.

The Miss Universe 2013 finals will take place on November 9, Saturday, at Crocus City Hall, Moscow.

Of course, the Indian contender at the pageant is in with a serious chance herself.
