A Hollywood good guy who's not afraid to get down and dirty, that's Tom Cruise for you.

With these stunts in 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' Tom Cruise has outdone himself.

The '80s heartthrob-cum-scientologist-cum-Hollywood royalty has another blockbuster, Mission Impossible film, releasing later this month.

Behind-the-scenes footage released by the makers of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, will clear all doubts on whether Cruise actually did this stunt himself, of hanging off a moving airplane, or whether it was a VFX gimmick.

In a stunt which can easily outdo Tom's earlier stunt of hanging off the world's tallest building, Dubai's 154-floor Burj Khalifa, in 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol', he admits this was "undoubtedly the most dangerous thing (he's) ever done."

And he is willing to take the risk factor way too far.

Cruise hangs from the side of an Airbus A400M being flown 5,000 ft in the air. Just so that they get it right, he did the shot eight times.

Just to give you a peek into risks involved: The star avoided a finger nail-sized debri, which if it had hit him full force could have broken his ribs.
