They made ‘Tarzan’ a hit, and ditto for ‘Aankhen’ and now Dharmendra and Sunny Deol are hoping to cash in on ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’.

Making movies is not monkey business. But monkeys have turned mediocre Bollywood movies into super-hits in the past. And now, the Deols are hoping to  replicate that formula on-screen.

We hear that the well-trained orangutan in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana2’ was paid INR 60 lakh. Clearly, the filmmakers reckon it is better investment strategy to invest on the animal than to splurge on mediocre Bollywood actors.

Through movies like ‘Dunston Checks In’, ‘Space Chimps’, ‘Planet of the Apes’, ‘King Kong’, ‘Mighty Joe Young’, ‘A Space Odyssey’ and ‘The Jungle Book’ ,  the primates have managed to miraculously turn movies into super-hits.

Let's just hope that the luck continues for the Deols as well.
