Jennifer Aniston is preparing to beat Angelina Jolie, who is marrying her former husband Brad Pitt, down the aisle - with the Friends star’s wedding expected within weeks. The 44-year-old actress is due to wrap filming her latest project in Connecticut at the end of this week and her friends are expecting a wedding ceremony to follow shortly.

She has already picked out the couple’s wedding bands, chosen a date and even a dress.

The details of the wedding has been kept under wraps in an attempt to keep the event a secret but some friend of Theroux’s are tipping comedian, Ben Stiller, as a potential best man for the small and intimate wedding ceremony.

Aniston’s bridesmaids will include TV host Chelsea Handler and her flower girl will be her god-daughter, Courteney Cox’s eight-year-old daughter Coco.

Even the guests won’t know the venue until the last possible minute but sources close to the couple have claimed that they have looked at options in Hawaii.

According to a source, Aniston is going to great lengths to keep the wedding details a secret so it does not become a huge media circus like her wedding to Pitt.

The source told the Sun that just a few dozen of their closest family and friends will be present.

The source said that Aniston would have liked to have her wedding at home in Los Angeles but she doesn’t want to get married with photographers buzzing around her head in helicopters.

The insider added that the couple love Hawaii and the idea of a laid back wedding in the sunshine and Ben Stiller, a big buddy of Theroux’s, has a house over there too so that could be a surprise option.

Jennifer Aniston doesn't want gifts

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux don't want wedding gifts and have asked guests to make donations to a children's hospice instead.

The couple are expected to tie the knot later this month and have asked guests who will be invited to the intimate ceremony to make charity donations in lieu of buying them presents.

A source said: "Jen and Justin's wedding will be an intimate affair with close friends and family, and Jennifer's ex-husband Brad Pitt is definitely not on the guest list.

"They have also requested that instead of gifts, guests donate money to a children's hospice."

The pair are heavily involved in their wedding planning and are even writing their own vows.

The source added: "The couple have also designed their own wedding rings with inscriptions inside. And they have written their own vows. It's going to be very romantic."

While Jennifer - who has decided not to have bridesmaids as her two closest friends Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox don't get along - and Justin have their ceremony planned, they are still unsure where to go on honeymoon.

The source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Justin has a house in Hawaii, so the island is very special to him, and Mexico is Jen's favourite place in the world.

"Paris is also special to them after they spent a very romantic and meaningful holiday there last year."
