Universal has begun to rev up its marketing campaign for the latest instalment of its 'Fast & Furious' franchise, officially titled 'Furious 7', the studio announced on the film's Facebook page on Sunday.

The film is also set for a trailer release date of November 1, where it will coincide with an interactive fan event over social media.

The trailer will stream live from Universal Studios in Los Angeles at 12 pm PST on the film's Facebook page and on E!

Fans will be able to submit questions, to be answered by cast members including Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez at the live event, via Instagram using the hashtag #AskFurious7.

Questions may also be submitted on the official Facebook page, which boasts 51 million likes.

Additionally, in the days leading up to the event, the film will release a seven-second, behind-the-scenes video each day, in a project dubbed '7 Seconds of 7'.

In the first video, released on Sunday after the announcement, viewers get a glimpse of star Paul Walker, who died last November in a car accident, Diesel and other cast members.

James Wan directs 'Furious 7' from a script by Chris Morgan based on characters by Gary Scott Thompson.

Lucas Black, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges also star in the film produced by Diesel, Michael Fottrell and Neil Moritz.

'Furious 7' is set to release on April 3, 2015.
