The Aamir Khan film ‘Talaash’ director Reema Kagti has strongly denied that additional shooting of the film will be done now.

Kagti is upset that there is a buzz in the market that the film may undergo changes more because of ‘Kahaani’ which has a similar twist in the tale towards the end of the movie.

Kagti says that the first draft of the film has been locked on the table and any more changes, if it takes place, will not be beyond the editing table.

Aamir Khan, one recollects had delayed the release of 'Delhi Belly' because he wanted the film to be promoted and marketed well and added two more songs to the film including a promotional item song starring himself.

Knowing Aamir, one does expect him to create some kind of a similar stunt to market 'Talaash'. He has also delayed the release of this film, buying a lot more time to think about the promotion of this movie.

'Delhi Belly' was to initially release before Aamir’s films 'Peepli Live' and 'Dhobi Ghat', but Aamir postponed it to work on the film.

In the case of 'Talaash', the film has been delayed not just because Aamir wanted time for the promotion, but also because the shooting of his TV show had gotten postponed.

“Both of them are important for me and hence I thought it would be advisable to postpone the film so that I get proper time to promote and market it”, said Aamir Khan.

Under normal circumstances, Bollywood producers are in a hurry to release their movies, because they incur a lot of interest on the money they pick up from the market to make and release their film.

But in this case, the investmest came from the filmmaker Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar themselves and hence there is no question of accumulating interest.

The film has been postponed from its earlier date of June 1 to November.
