One Direction break-up? Zayn Malik goes solo; Harry Styles rumours

World's biggest band, One Direction, are set to bring the UAE to a standstill as they plan to perform at the Dubai Sevens Stadium on April 4, 2015 as part of their 'On The Road Again Tour'.

But ahead of their Dubai tour news of the band spliting up are rife.

There has been a lot of speculation over the past few months whether One Direction will continue on as a group when their current deal with Sony comes to an end.

It's been a matter of days since Simon Cowell announced at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday that he's happy for the One Direction boys to work on their own solo projects.

Well, it seems Zayn Malik has found himself a little side project.

Even though Cowell approved them to go solo, the music Moghul has set some ground rules – if they go solo, they have to do it on the side of their work as a band.

So when he says he doesn't mind them going solo, he means in addition to them still being Harry, Niall, Louis, Zayn and Liam – the One Direction band.

There have been rumours in the music industry that Harry is preparing to go solo.

And now, Zayn has offered himself up for a track on the second album by UK producer Naughty Boy.

It emerged back in July last year that Zayn and the music wizard had written a tune together called One Chance To Dance for 1D's next album but it didn't make it onto the finished version of Four.

But the pair's efforts haven't gone to waste as the song is going to be released in the near future.

Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, told The Sun on Sunday: "I can't deny the fact that we have made music together.

"That's music we’ve made for One Direction and also that Zayn is going to feature on my next album."

Daily Mail had earlier reported that Harry Styles has taken step towards distancing himself from the group.

The report says, Harry instructed Irish accountant Alan McEvoy to set up a company called HSA Publishing Ltd, with just himself and McEvoy as directors.

Earlier McEvoy created 1D Media Limited, of which all of One Direction – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Styles – are directors, each with a 20 per cent share.

So the question is why will Harry open a new company when he already has one?

Daily Mail also reported that the singer has been popping into a recording studio in London whenever.

But his close associates maintain it is ridiculous even to suggest that he would ever leave the band.

One Direction has a five-album deal and their fifth – a greatest hits record – is expected this year.
