Patrick Schwarzenegger is reportedly "falling hard" for Miley Cyrus, with sources revealing that the couple are in the relationship for the long haul.

The 21-year-old model and actor and the 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker - who appeared to confirm their relationship when they were photographed kissing on Thursday night - are reportedly in the relationship for the long haul.

A source revealed: "He is definitely falling hard for her and she really is liking all the attention he is giving her.

"This is something that is going to last."

When prompted about the possibility of their relationship developing further, the source added to HollywoodLife.com: "It could definitely lead that way and if Patrick gets what he wants it will, but they don't say 'I love you' to each other yet. Way too early!"

The 'Stuck In Love' star - whose parents are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver - is believed to have encouraged his mother to "warm up" to the idea that him and Miley are an item.

A source previously revealed: "Maria is still not convinced that Patrick should be focusing all his attention on Miley and isn't thrilled that a romance is brewing.
