Paul Walker's brothers - Cody, 25, and elder brother Caleb, 36 filled in for him to complete the seventh movie in the blockbuster franchise, Fast & Furious, after the actor's death.

The producers needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that's when they approached his nearly identical brothers.

His brothers, who bear an uncanny resemblance to the late star, helped wrap up the shooting, which was ongoing when the star died in a car crash last November.

Now, almost six months after the actor's untimely death the movie has reached it's climax.

Yet, there are few hurdles in the filming.

Paul Walker's close-up scenes will be completed using face-replacement technology by special effects company Weta, according to reports.

The special effects company will use three cameras to create the computer-generated face-replacement needed for the super successful franchises sequel.

A source told the film site the makers were finishing the film more or less as scripted, replacing Walker with computer-generated face replacement.

The source added that there is a massive amount of gear, asserting that everything that was to be filmed with Walker gets done three times over. - Agencies

Using face-replacement technology has sent the film’s budget soaring to almost $250 million.

The Fast & The Furious 7 has finished filming in the UAE, according to Emirates news agency WAM.

Produced by Universal Pictures, the latest chapter in the highly anticipated action-thriller series was made possible by cooperation between Abu Dhabi government and twofour54.

Filming took place at a number of iconic locations in Abu Dhabi, including Emirates Palace, Al Ain City and Jumeirah Etihad Towers.

The capital is fast becoming a leading production hub with projects including Hollywood thriller ‘Deliver us from Evil’ and the BBC’s ‘Top Gear’.
