Peaches Geldof's unexplained death: Friends pay tribute

Lily Allen has led tributes to Peaches Geldof, following her sudden and  on Monday afternoon (07.04.14).

The TV personality and DJ, 25, who has sons, Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months, with husband Tom Cohen, was found dead at their family home in Kent, England on Monday afternoon (07.04.14).

The 'Hard Out Here' hitmaker, Lily Allen, was among dozens of celebrities to express her condolences on Twitter, writing: "My thoughts are with the Geldof's at this awful time. I hope they get to grieve in peace. Peaches, rest in peace gorgeous girl."

Danny Jones from McFly tweeted: "So so sad to hear about Peaches Geldof. #RIPPeachesGeldof"

TV personality Myleene Klass wrote: "The news of beautiful Peaches is utterly devastating, God bless her babies. RIP mama xxx"

Topshop heiress and designer Chloe Green tweeted: "Such sad news, my heart breaks for her beautiful children RIP Peaches, a wonderful soul, Let us all allow her family to grieve in peace"

'Burn' hitmaker Ellie Goulding wrote: "Even if you think you've got it all figured out, some things still can't be explained or understood. Two beautiful children. RIP Peaches"

British singer Sam Smith tweeted: "So so sad about Peaches Geldof. Thoughts with all of her family"

Model Daisy Lowe, who is close friends with Peaches' sister Pixie Geldof, simply shared a picture of a broken heart.

The second eldest daughter of Irish rocker Sir Bob Geldof, Peaches was 11 when her mother Paula Yates died from a heroin overdose in 2000.

Police were called to her secluded home outside Wrotham in Kent, southeast England, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her death was being treated as "unexplained and sudden" but non-suspicious, police said.

Officers searching Peaches Geldof's house last night after her tragic death found no evidence of hard drugs, no suicide note, and no visible signs of injury, it has been claimed.

In her last message on Twitter on Sunday (06.04.14), she posted a picture of her as a child with her mother.

Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and sudden by police.
