Pregnant Indian model flaunts her baby bump on the ramp

A reality show star and elegant model, Carol Gracias flaunted her pregnant belly at the Lakme Fashion week.

Thirty-seven-year-old Carol has broken all stereotypes by walking the ramp for designer Gaurang Shah at the famous fashion show, in a saree which revealed her belly.

While designers, Karl Lagerfeld and Dolce & Gabbana have recently featured pregnant models in their shows, Carol is the first pregnant model who was seen in an Indian fashion show.

The supermodel who was also seen in the movie ‘Fashion’ showed that a pregnant woman can be stylish too.

Carol told the ‘Hindustan Times’, “I have been doing his shows for many years now, so this time as usual he called and asked if he could book me. I told him I was pregnant and he still asked if I would walk for the show. I thought if the designer would like me in his show, then why not? I really enjoyed the experience.’

Although Gaurang Shah was not aware how many months pregnant Carol was, he was surprised to see her so confident about showing the bump in a low waist saree and walking in high heels.

Carol also participated in the first season of reality show, ‘Bigg Boss’ and was appreciated for her calm demeanor in the over dramatic house.
