Kareena Kapoor has turned down actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik’s sequel to the film Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai opposite Tusshar Kapoor.

The two Kapoors had acted in the original film in 2001 but of course, the world has changed since then and how.

Today, Kareena is the unofficial number one actress of Bollywood, earning the highest figures for a Hindi film actress and working only with top heroes of the industry.

In their last film together, Golmaal 3 in 2010, she was the leading lady of the film and Tusshar was one of the side heroes not paired opposite her. In fact, 2001 was the last time they had been paired opposite each other.

Since they did that film together, Kareena has moved from strength to strength. In fact, this year she achieved the distinction if you will, of being the only Hindi film actress to have worked with all the Khans of the industry in the same year.

She is doing Reema Kagti’s film with Aamir Khan (already did 3 Idiots with him in 2009), starred in the blockbuster Bodyguard with Salman Khan this year, is doing Agent Vinod with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan and will be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Ra.One at the end of this year.

She is also now the highest paid heroine after agreeing to do Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, where she is said to have negotiated the highest fee paid to a Bollywood actress.

While Tusshar will be seen in the film The Dirty Picture, that is Vidya Balan’s film all the way.

Incidentally, Kareena’s other former hero, ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor, is also sort of struggling to make his presence felt with his upcoming release Mausam.

However, by the looks of it, Kareena is set to obliterate both the actors with her forthcoming releases. Should we be saying more power to you, Kareena?
