Prince Harry, Cressida Bonas break-up; Pippa ready to marry?

Britain's Prince Harry has reportedly split from Cressida Bonas.

The 29-year-old royal has called time on his relationship with the 24-year-old socialite after almost two years of dating because he found her too "needy".

A source close to the prince told PEOPLE.com: "He found her too needy and it just wasn't working out."

That was strongly denied by sources close to the couple who confirmed their separation to the Daily Mail.

Other reports have suggested that the couple have merely paused their relationship for a 'breather', as Kate and William did before they married.

A friend insisted that the split was ‘very much an amicable one’ and that they had parted as friends.

‘Unfortunately it is true, they have split up. But this suggestion that the prince supposedly “dumped” Cressida because she was “too needy” is so wide of the mark,’ they said.

‘It is a very amicable split and they are still very much the best of friends. They have just decided to go their separate ways.’

The pair began romancing after being introduced through the flame-haired hunk's cousin Princess Eugenie - the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson - in 2012.

Things seemed to be going well for the duo as Cressida attended her first official royal event last month at the launch of WE day at the Wembley Arena in London.

The couple, who were keen to keep their relationship out of the public eye, also recently sparked speculation of a possible marriage proposal in the not so distant future.

However, the blonde beauty had reportedly told her friends she wasn't keen on getting engaged just yet as she is enjoying her new job in theatre marketing.

A source said previously: "Cressida is very busy and has lots to do. Marriage is not something she's considering yet.

"She has just started a new job where she's being paid the usual salary for someone of her age - i.e. peanuts - and she has found a flat to rent with her friend Daisy.

"She is doing all the things that people in their 20s should be doing. Who knows what might have changed by this time next year but that is how she wants it to be."

It seems Pippa Middleton's friendship with Nico Jackson is more than just a fling.

Pippa and her parents attended a high society wedding in rural Scotland - and there was even room for Nico, an investment banker and Pippa's love interest, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Two of Pippa's oldest friends, Rowena Macrae and Julian Osborne, tied the knot at the lavish ceremony in Perthshire, where the Duchess of Cambridge's 30-year-old sister was accompanied by Nico, even as rumours of their own engagement remain rife.

Pippa, who came to the wedding wearing a cat dress by Suzannah and with a bag by Emmy London, met Rowena on a course at the prestigious 3,600 pounds-a-month cookery school The Grange, in Frome, Somerset.

Duchess Kate's sister has been with Nico, 36, for 18-months and their increasing number of cosy public appearances are fuelling suspicions that they could be ready to get married themselves.

Pippa met Nico Jackson on a skiing trip.
