Bollywood director Zoya Akhtar has unveiled the look of her next film 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.

The makers of this family drama are on a poster releasing spree revealing the look of their star characters.

Their most recent offering presents the first look of the two outsiders from the Mehra family - Anushka Sharma's character Farah Ali and Farhan Akhtars' character Sunny Gill.

Anushka is shown sunbathing, wearing trendy cool-blue shades and in the footnote of the poster, she is seen looking past the horizon with Ranveer Singh, who plays Kabir Mehra , her love interest in the film
Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar looks as stylish as the Mehra boys (Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor) but in a pensive mood.

The makers have also released new posters revealing each character's style and persona. Actress Shefali Shah, who will be seen as Anil Kapoor's wife, and mother of Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, is described as 'graceful and pretty.'

A boy-next-door look and a charming smile make Ranveer’s Kabir Mehra the perfect poster boy.

There's sadness in Ayesha Mehra's otherwise stylish look.

Ayesha has a troubled relationship with her husband played by Farhan Akhtar and is shown to be very close to her brother Kabir Mehra (Ranveer Singh).

The salt-and-pepper look on Anil Kapoor sets his character apart from the earlier looks portrayed in his other films.

The Movie:

'Dil Dhadakne Do' is the story of a Punjabi dysfunctional family; of bittersweet comedy drama about a family that takes a trip that changes them forever.

Kamal and Neelam Mehra, one of the most popular couples in Delhi society are entering their 30th year of marriage. This is an occasion that calls for a lavish celebration in their circles.

Kamal and Neelam take these social responsibilities very seriously and invite close family and friends on a 10-day cruise of Europe.

Once on the ship, their lives start to unfold. Kamal is heading to bankruptcy; Neelam and he can barely tolerate each other.

Their business savvy daughter, Ayesha is sick of her marriage and wants a divorce, which leads to a lot of drama with her husband, and in laws who are also there.

Their son Kabir, who is slated to take over the family business and hopefully save the company by marrying the only daughter of the wealthy Sood family, starts to have other ideas.

He falls in love with an entertainer on board the ship and realizes he is not cut out for business after all.

Will the Mehra's socially sink? How will they be able to confront the society that is so fake and judgmental? How will they swim to shore and survive as a happy family?
