This is one makeover even the Priyanka Chopra fan never thought she could pull off.

Priyanka is all set to make her debut, as a protagonist, on American TV show 'Quantico'.

The first trailer is out where Priyanka plays an FBI trainee named Alex Parish, a half-Caucasian-half-Indian based in Quantico, Virginia.

Starring as the lead character, the trailer shows Chopra, the freshly recruited Agent Alex, in the middle of a collapsed structure before cutting to a flash back of how she flew to FBI's training base Quantico.

Priyanka wows her fan as she finds herself in a middle of a mess - suspected of masterminding one of the biggest attacks on New York city after 9/11 and taking it upon herself to find out who the real culprit is.

The new recruits have just arrived at Quantico Base in Virginia and Special Agent Liam O'Connor (Dougray Scott) tells them that the FBI Academy is the toughest boot camp and hardest grad school rolled into one.

Quantico follows a group of young FBI recruits, all of whom have a specific reason for wanting to join the bureau. In the lead role is Alex Parish (Priyanka Chopra), a young woman with a desire to learn more about her past, who believes that the FBI is the place to find answers.

Alex (Priyanka) is joined by by Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), southern belle Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Braddy), hijab wearing Nimah Anwar (Yasmine Al Massri), golden boy Caleb Haas (Graham Rogers), Brooklyn hipster Simon Asher (Tate Ellington) and clean cut Mormon Eric Packer.

The group is overseen and trained by Liam, who has his own sketchy history, and the training academy's director, Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis), whose family life has recently suffered a terrible tragedy.

The show flashes between the recruits' present day training and their hidden pasts, but it also flashes forward to the near future, where it is revealed that one of the recruits caused the most devastating terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11. But which one? That's what Alex is determined to find out.

'Quantico' will air on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
