There are reports that suggest Anurag Basu's forthcoming film 'Barfi!' is being delayed because of Priyanka Chopra, who is playing the female lead in the movie that also stars Ranbir Kapoor.
The movie's release has been postponed twice already. First, when Ranbir Kapoor's dates were occupied with 'Rockstar', and next when co-star Priyanka Chopra's dates were also a mismatch.
Now, once again the movie maybe delayed. The film is complete, except for a small portion with Chopra, who is now busy with the shooting of 'Zanjeer' remake.
'Barfi!' stars Ranbir as a deaf-mute boy while Priyanka essays the role of an autistic girl. Telugu actress Ileana D'Cruz plays a narrator.
But coming out to Priyanka's defense director Basu said, "These are speculations. The film is not getting delayed because of anyone. The film is almost complete; we are just waiting for the right date to be decided by UTV. Even I am waiting for that date."
