As we see these fight raging inside the house, the fight spill outside the game show as well. Family and fans indulge in mudslinging against contestants they dislike and shower praises on celebrities they adore.

Nivriti Isshar, Puneet's daughter, got herself involved in this war between her father and Karishma.

Karishma was upset about Puneet's foul mouth and Nivriti defended her father with this tweet:

This distasteful tweet met severe criticism online and she was slammed by Tanna supporters and general public for such insensitive tweet.

After the backlash Nivriti has backtracked for the comment.

Issar's daughter now claims that the remarks were not made by her at all and the tweet in question was posted from a fake account.

We are not sure how true that is since Nivriti's sister Deepali also seems to have made a series of offensive comments about Karishma which seem to have gone unnoticed so far

On December 12, she wrote on what appears to be her Facebook page: "IF Karishma Tanna Was any More stupid, We would HAVE TO WATER HER TWICE A WEEK !!!"

On December 9, she commented on a link concerning Karishma: "The Woman who does not know the President of India Proves she NEVER reads the paper, and if NEVER reads how will she know who is a celebrity and who is not???"

In an interview to The Times of India, Nivriti said, "The tweet was posted from a fake account. Several media houses have reported about it without even verifying it with me. Bombay Times is the first publication that thought of checking with me about the tweet. I immediately clarified regarding the same on my account. My family and I have been so disturbed ever since the tweet was posted. I am a daughter and my father is alive. I would never write anything against any daughter. I have never spoken against any evicted inmate even though they have gone all out against my father. Why would I do something now?"

Meanwhile, Karishma's mother Jasmine also revealed to The Times of India that she cried after reading the disturbing tweet. She said, ""The tweet was disturbing and I cried a lot after learning about it. I have no clue why Puneet is projecting my daughter in that manner by calling her a bimbette and mitti ka madhav. I felt bad. He is behaving strangely as he supports her on some days and goes all out against her on other days. Karishma had called him her father because she actually saw a father figure in him. And with the latest tweet, Nivriti has proved that she is his daughter and is negative. While he keeps telling Praneet to not indulge in Shakuni-niti, he himself is indulging heavily in duryodhan-niti."

Puneet is best known for playing Duryodhan on TV's Mahabharat.

Nivriti, on her part, has apologised for hurting Karishma's family, "It's just a game show and not the end of the world. I am sure they don't feel any malice towards anyone as it's not them, but the circumstances that have pushed them to react in a particular manner. I am sure they would reconnect and become friends once they are out of the house. One tends to react strangely because of the unnatural circumstances they live in. The tweet is shameful. I have a clear conscience and am God-fearing. But I would like to apologise if the tweet has hurt Karishma's family."
