Ram Kapoor to bid goodbye to 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain'?

Ram Kapoor may need to be replaced if the show Bade Acche Lagte Hain on Sony TV does not end.

Ram Kapoor is not just a big name of TV, but also an important name in the film industry. It can be recalled that Ram was unable to promote one of his films called Maai with Asha Bhosle because of his tight schedules. Even when it came to promoting his other film Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Ram was not much accessible.

But now after working in a top A grade production of Vashu Bhagnani for the film Hum Shakals where he has a role as good as the others in the film like Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, or make that three roles on account of his performance being a triple role, Ram Kapoor is seriously contemplating more films and has signed up a few.

As per his earlier contract with Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms, the serial was to shut down by the end of May. Ram Kapoor has retained his name in the serial, but with the show extending, Ram is unable to make time as he has already committed to some movies and those dates are non-negotiable.

While we are told that Ram is still making one last ditch attempt to salvage something, we are told that the channel, Sony TV is already trying to speak to other people who can be equal to Ram not just in height and girth, but can also pull in a weighty performance to match the serial’s protagonist Priya played by Sakshi Tanwar.

Two other shows on the channel Desh Ki Beti Nandini and Main Naa Bhoolungi are not exactly doing the way they want to, which means that Bade Achche Lagte Hain needs to stay in its slot. We are told that when Ram was away shooting for Hum Shakals, the channel used t a lot of cheat shots in the show, but cannot do that forever.

The channel is also trying to see if they can take the serial towards a leap so that the characters can then be changed.

No official confirmation has come from anyone regarding the same.
