Ranbir Kapoor, Gauahar Khan come together for a cause

In a rare appearance veteran actress Sadhana, who has been away from the public eye for a while now, took to the ramp on Sunday (May 11) for a fashion show by designers Shaina NC and Vikram Phadnis to support the cause of cancer and AIDS patients in Mumbai.

The 72-year-old actress was escorted by Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor in what's said to be her first experience on the ramp.

Sadhana, who is remembered for her roles in 'Mera Saaya', 'Waqt' , 'Arzoo' and 'Ek Phool Do Mali' to name a few, did a small jig on stage to everyone's delight.

Mumbai based designer Shaina NC did the impossible turning Sadhana as the showstopper for her show Golden Thimbles.

Looking every inch a diva in the pink ensemble, Sadhana stole the spotlight from the B-town boys who too walked the ramp.

Sadhana was credited for making the fringe hairstyle a trend in the country and she sportingly styled her hair in a fringe top bun during the show.

The  'Arzoo' actress was joined by other Bollywood stars including Manish Paul, Aditi Rao Hydari, Gauahar Khan, Divya Khosla Kumar and many TV actresses at the show which turned out to be grand affair with their starry presence.

'O Teri' actress Sarah-Jane Dias also walked the ramp along with television actress Rashmi Desai and Sakshi Tanwar in designer ensembles.

Gauahar Khan and Neetu Chandra too turned showstoppers for Shaina NC in gorgeous saris.
