They can fly faster than rocket, they can duke it out with devils, they can sing and dance, and still woo their dream girl, that's Bollywood superhero for you.

We have seen common man Anil Kapoor do it (Mr India), Hrithik Roshan playing the part with style (Koi... Mil Gaya) and Shah Rukh Khan did his best in the Tron-suited superhero role (RA.One).

Now it's time for Ranbir Kapoor to wear those capes and masks and puffed up body hugging prosthetic suits and to jump from one building to the other.

After making 'Wake UP Sid' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' with Ranbir Kapoor, director Ayan Mykherjee is mulling over scripts to create a superhero character.

Like his other two films Ayan plans to cast his best buddy and favourite actor Ranbir Kapoor as his lead actor.

It will be a challenge for Ayan to graduate to a less explored genre of superhero and science fiction.

Right now Ayan has taken a break covering Istanbul, Barcelona and a few cities in US. Interestingly, Ranbir and alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif will join Ayan in Barcelona for a holiday.

Mumbai Mirror reports, the director plans to chalk out a script while on holiday and after returning he will meet up with Ranbir and talk out the details.

Now the question is who will play Ranbir's 'Cat woman'? Katrina Kaif? Nothing wrong in assuming that Katrina will purr her best during Barcelona holiday to impress both Ranbir and Ayan as she missed out on 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' which eventually went to Deepika Padukone.

In fact Katrina is already doing some daredevil stunts in 'Dhoom 3' opposite Aamir Khan and 'Bang Bang' opposite Hrithik Roshan. So if Ayan decides to bring in Katrina, it won't be a bad choice.

Ranbir Kapoor is generating a hysteria among filmmakers and youngsters. Sooner than later, RK will take on the Khans for the top spot in Bollywood.

Ranbir's experimental streak was noticed when he played a struggling salesman in 'Rocket Singh' or a deaf-mute boy in Anurag Basu's 'Barfi!' and the classic tragic hero with a contemporary twist in Imtiaz Ali's 'Rockstar'.

So it won't come as a surprise if Ranbir gives his nod to Ayan Mukherjee's untitled superhero flick.
