Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif: Too much love and less work?

'Jagga Jasoos' was initally slated to release in the month of May, 2015.

After being pushed from August to November release, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's 'Jagga Jasoos' had a new date - June 3, 2016.

But it is unlikely that the film may hit the theatres in June.

The film's release date was pushed from August to November earlier because of the box office clash with Katrina's another film 'Phantom'.

Expectations are high for this joint Anurag Basu-Kapoor production under their Picture Shuru production house. This will be their first movie together after the 2012 hit 'Barfi.'

Considering 'Jagga Jasoos' is Ranbir's home production we expected things to be roll out quickly.

But we guess, the actor needs more discipline as a producer. Add to the fact that when you are working with your girlfriend, you can possibly find lot of time to be with her.

Ranbir seems to have had enough time with Katrina but couldn't schedule his busy diary for this movie.

The shooting of 'Jagga Jasoos' began by the end of the year 2013 when the Katrina-Ranbir romance was moving quickly.

And only the romance moved quickly because the film got stuck. Seriously, in the past three years their love-life had made more news than their work.

Both Ranbir and director Basu also wants to reshoot certain scenes.

Although the actor wants to re-shoot without delaying the release, post-production will also take some time.

After starting shoot for 'Jagga Jasoos', Ranbir had to change his look and physique for 'Bombay Velvet'.

He then started filming for 'Tamasha' and now he will begin filming for Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' with Aishwarya Rai which will go on till end of the year.

So he will need to re-shoot 'Jagga Jasoos' only early next year (if he is unable to sqeeze out few dates inbetween).

There's more trouble for the film - different schedules of the film have taken place in South Africa and Thailand and the footage will surely look dated in 3 years.

Ranbir hence will need to allot full dates along with Katrina and shoot the film with Basu.

That means that 'Jagga Jasoos' will not be able to stick to the fourth release date that has been planned: June 3, 2016.

It does look as if the film will release only in the last quarter of 2016.

This also means that Katrina might not be able to star with Shah Rukh Khan in Anand L Rai's next as the project will demand the same dates!
